How it works
Before and after oxidation
Solid wood naturally changes shade under the action of sun and rain. Each species has its own path - from the initial tone to the stable silver patina.
New
OxidisedPadouk
Brick red→silver grey
New
OxidisedMerbau
Reddish brown→warm grey
Oxidation is a natural process, not a defect - it does not affect the mechanical strength or durability of the wood. The shade stabilises after exposure.
