Cinema Gloria
About the project
The interior refurbishment of Bucharest's iconic Cinema Gloria, where three-dimensional cladding in exotic Padouk wood covers all the walls and doors of the main foyer. The boards, in varied thicknesses and widths, arranged in a non-repeating layout at different depths, create a remarkable sculptural texture - warm, dynamic, with plays of light and shadow that animate the public space. The careful execution also includes the fully clad doors, perfectly integrated into the wall surface and invisible within the overall composition.
